What is going on at ASF ?
(provisional)

This program is provisional. Participate to build it sending us your ideas at agrostudentsforthefuture@gmail.com

Price: 10 euros. It permits you to intend to all activities, workshops and give you access to all meal.

Aims:

- Review of sustainable food system in southern countries and the issues involved.
- Know the alternatives and sustainables innovations.
- Help agronomy or agrobuisness ingeneer in training to widespread their professionnal view to participate to the food systems sustainability.
- Know that it is possible to act hile you are still a student.
- Create student networks.

Thursday 19 November : Understand the stakeholders of sustainable food systems in southern countries.

14h  Sustainable food production in developing coutries                  Speakers : Yves Le Bars (président 
        Overview of the situation, challenges and specificities                              of the CFSI)
        of southern countries. Short review and situation in 2015.                        



15h30 Break

16h Workshops (2 sessions of 40 minutes)

Workshop 1 : Understanding stakeholders and stakes of 
        food present production. Define the main protagonists
        of food systems (farmers, processors, carriers, sellers..)
        and their relationships. Specificities of southern countries.
        Group work with moderators.

Workshop 2 : How climatic changes influence food             Moderators : REFEDD, Mr Dumonteil.
        production in developing countries ? Know the 
        main challenges of climate changes, predictions 
        and consequences on the southern food systems. 
        Group work with moderators.

Workshop 3 : International agreements _ Stakeholders                 Speakers: Tanguy Martin (Agrista ).
        and legitimacy. Understand the countries relationships.
        What are they and what are the impact and influence
        they have. Debate on their legitimacy.  Group work
        with moderators.

Workshop 4: In my country, how is it?
        Experience exchanges.

Workshop 5: Do an inventory on the main issues.                              Moderators: Yves Le Bars.
        Group work with moderators. Take into account southern
        countries specificities. Brainstorming.


Evening : 
Forum theater - International dinner.

9h30 Workshops (simultaneously 2 session of 40 minutes)

          Introspection                                                                           Speakers : Jean Thierry Winstel 
          Everyone will have to think about its values and goals.                    (director- funder of bioviva)
          Relaxing and time to think on your own. At the end every
          participants will write down on a paper his goals. This will
          help to define the aternoon workshops groups.


          Role playing
          By group, one participant choose a singular situation
          challenges that he knows about and the team build up one
          or several possible strategies of action.

12h30  Lunch

14h  How to become a protagonist of the change ?                           Moderators : Charlie (Social cup)
        Group build thanks to the results of the morning session
        (sharing goals). Debate on possible actions to realize in
        their field of action. Create a presentation for the plenary
        session the following day.



Sunday 22 November: Review and closure.
